Our Guiding Pillars

01.
Authenticity Over Performance

We never stage culture for tourists. Every experience is an invitation to be part of the culture — through hands-on workshops, direct interaction with local artisans, and real-life connections. This deep immersion is key to our mission of preserving cultural heritage.

02.
Go Local. Go Eco.

Responsible travel is how we operate — not a marketing badge. We ensure every local partner receives fair compensation. We prioritize women's cooperatives, family-run guesthouses, and local artisans, ensuring your journey creates real economic opportunity and contributes to cultural preservation.

03.
Operational Excellence

We hold ourselves to the highest standards: certified guides, quality equipment, and rigorous safety protocols. We deliver this professionalism with warmth and genuine Moroccan hospitality — in Morocco, they are the same thing.

Meet The Founder

Ayoub Nabil

Certified Natural Landscapes Guide
Musician | Storyteller

Ayoub grew up in Ait Bou Oulli, one of the highest and most remote valleys in Morocco's Central High Atlas. His family were farmers and former nomads, giving him an intimate, lifelong connection to the land and its traditions.

Roots and Heritage

Professional Expertise

Ayoub holds a degree in Business Administration and Tourism, and is certified as a Natural Landscapes Guide (ISTAHT Ouarzazate). With over seven years of experience in the industry, he has specialized in eco-conscious tourism and crafting authentic experiences across Morocco's diverse terrains.

The Artistic Drive

Ayoub co-founded the band Jubantouja in 2016, blending Amazigh poetry with contemporary folk and rock. The band has performed at Dubai Expo 2020, Visa for Music, and earned international press coverage. This creative endeavor shares the same goal as Atlas Folks: to bridge traditional Moroccan culture with global audiences.

The Invitation

Ayoub founded Atlas Folks as his personal answer to tourism that simply passes through. Every journey is based on his personal network of family, friends, and communities across Morocco. The goal is simple:
"You're not a guest. You're part of the story."
