Trip Itinerary

DAY 1  Marrakech to Tagdilt

Climb through the High Atlas via Tizi n'Tichka. Arrive at Tagdilt for first taste of Amazigh hospitality.

DAY 2  Tagdilt to Iferd Plateau

Mules loaded at dawn. Cross vast volcanic plateau to Iferd (2,250m) where nomad camps appear like mirages.

DAY 3  Kouaouch Summit

Ascend through volcanic rock towers to Kouaouch (2,600m). Panoramic views to the Sahara.

DAY 4  Surreal Landscapes

Trek through twisted volcanic pillars and the rocky cirque of Tadaout n'Tablah.

DAY 5  Bab n'Ali

Pass the Saghro's most iconic landmark — two massive rock pillars forming an ancient gateway.

DAY 6  Ighazoun to Handour

Final trek through the southern Saghro. Celebration tagine awaits.

DAY 7  Return to Marrakech

Transfer north crossing Tizi n'Tichka.
