Trip Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrival in Marrakech

— THE RED CITY

Welcome to Morocco. Transfer to your hotel and settle in. Depending on your arrival time, explore the medina — lose yourself in the labyrinthine souks, watch the sun set over Jemaa el-Fna, or taste your first tagine in a rooftop restaurant.

DAY 2 Into the Aït Bou Oulli

— FOUNDER'S VALLEY

Leave Marrakech and journey deep into the Central High Atlas via Demnate. The road reveals magnificent panoramas of mountains and hidden valleys. At Agouti, leave the vehicles and begin walking into the Aït Bou Oulli — the hidden valley where our founder was born and raised.

DAY 3 Gorges & High Passes

— CLIMBING

A spectacular day through gorges and past stone shepherds' shelters. Climb steadily toward Tizi n'Rougoult pass (2,900m), where the views stretch endlessly across the M'Goun massif. Camp where the high country begins and eagles circle overhead.

DAY 4 Tarkedit Plateau

— NOMAD TERRITORY

Follow the beautiful Assdremt trail to the high plateaus at the foot of M'Goun. Discover sinkholes and caves used by nomads during summer migrations. Your camp tonight sits among the Aït Atta shepherds, their black tents scattered across the plateau.

DAY 5 M'Goun Summit

— ROOF OF THE ATLAS

Early departure in the pre-dawn darkness. Climb to the long, windswept ridge and follow it to the summit at 4,068m — the highest point in the High Atlas. The world spreads beneath you: desert to the south, mountains in every direction. Descend to camp in the Oulilimt Valley.

DAY 6 Troglodyte Houses & Bougmez

— ANCIENT DWELLINGS

Trek through stunning red mountain landscapes to Tizi n'Aït Boualli pass (2,900m). Discover the troglodyte houses of Ikkis — cliff dwellings still used by shepherds. The legendary Bougmez Valley spreads below, your gîte waiting with hot tagine and cold mountain water.

DAY 7 Return to Marrakech

— CROSSING BACK

Final Amazigh breakfast at your gîte, then transfer back to Marrakech via Azilal. Lunch en route in a valley restaurant. Arrive in early afternoon with time to explore the city or relax after your mountain adventure.

DAY 8 Departure

— FAREWELL

Final morning in Marrakech. Depending on your flight time, enjoy a last stroll through the medina before transfer to the airport. You leave with the summit in your memory, the hospitality of the mountains in your heart.
